Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Planning and/or Purchasing professionals to define and execute a materials strategy to move goods from Supplier through receipt, production, and shipment readiness
Responsible for managing the plant's inventory performance metrics vs. target for Raw, WIP, and Finished Goods through stock level optimization and reduction/prevention of Excess & Obsolete. Acts as Inventory Management subject matter expert for site
Sets and manages the inventory strategy (plan for every part) and monitors performance
Key contributor to the SIOP process for materials availability, inventory forecast, scenario planning. Support process of translating demand forecast into supply and SKU-based forecast
Improve ERP effectiveness by ensuring the right parameters are set while improving automation of planning and scheduling process.
