On-site - **The Impact You'll Make** The Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations AME MX is responsible for the overall management, stability, security, and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure in Americas region. This includes servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, data centers, and related systems.The Manager will lead a team of IT professionals and work closely with other IT departments to ensure the infrastructure meets the needs of the business and supports its strategic goals. -**
What You’ll Be Doing***Leadership and Team Management**: Leading, mentoring, and developing the IT infrastructure team, fostering a high-performance environment, and ensuring 24/7 coverage.
- **Operations Management**: Overseeing daily operations, including monitoring, incident and problem management, and disaster recovery planning to minimize downtime.
- **Finance and Vendor Management**: Developing and managing the IT infrastructure budget, optimizing costs, and managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- **Optimization and Continuous Improvement**: Identifying and implementing improvements in infrastructure performance, process efficiency, and task automation.
- **Security Management**: Implementing and maintaining security best practices, collaborating with the security team, and conducting audits to protect the IT infrastructure.
- **What We're Looking For***Education**: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- **Experience**: A minimum of 3-5 years in IT infrastructure management, including 2-3 years in a leadership role in a multi-country environment.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong knowledge of servers, networks, storage, cloud environments, and data centers.
- **Methodologies**: Experience with ITIL (incident, problem, and change management). ITIL Foundation certification is required.
- **Soft Skills**: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work under pressure.
- **Preferred Qualifications (Beneficial)**:
- Experience with network monitoring tools (Aruba Central, Cisco, Palo Alto).
- Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Certifications in networking (CCNA/CCNP), cloud (Azure Solutions Architect), or security (CISSP, CISM).
- **Key Skills**: Leadership, Team Management, Infrastructure Management, Cloud Computing, and Network Administration.
