Role Purpose
The B2B Supply Chain Planner is responsible for managing end‑to‑end supply planning operations across inventory, Water storage tanks (WST) planning, and trading items planning. This role ensures product availability, service level achievement, optimal stock holding, and efficient order fulfilment for B2B customers. The position requires strong analytical skills, cross‑functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of supply chain processes.
Roles & Responsibility
Develop, execute, and optimize inventory plans to achieve targeted service levels while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
Maintain optimal safety stock levels considering demand variability, lead time fluctuations, and product lifecycle stages.
Monitor inventory health through metrics such as DOH, inventory turns, and ageing analysis.
Align with demand planning to ensure forecasting accuracy and inventory alignment with business objectives.
Build and update models based on consumption patterns, demand volatility, and supply constraints.
Review and recalibrate parameters periodically to ensure alignment with business needs.
Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure adequate stock replenishment.
Identify risks to adherence and implement corrective action plans.
Manage planning for trading items sourced externally (non‑manufacturing SKUs).
Align with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment and resolve supply issues proactively.
Track lead times, MOQ, supplier performance, and cost implications.
Maintain master data accuracy for trading items (lead time, MOQ, pack size, cost).
Manage B2B customer order fulfilment through effective allocation and supply coordination across India.
Work with sales and key account teams on availability updates and order prioritization.
Ensure OTIF (On‑Time In-Full) delivery performance targets are met for B2B accounts.
Coordinate with logistics to streamline dispatch plans and resolve delivery exceptions.
Partner with demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and sales teams.
Participate in S&OE and IBP meetings, providing insights on inventory, WST, and supply risks/opportunities.
Support new product introductions, product transitions, and SKU rationalization activities.
Requirement:
2–7 years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, or B2B supply chain roles (adjust based on seniority).
MBA in Supply chain management or operations management.
Experience with FMCG, retail, consumer goods, or distribution‑based businesses is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP), and BI tools (Power Bi).
Understanding of supply chain principles: inventory management, replenishment planning, logistics, and demand planning.
Ability to handle multi‑stakeholder communication, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
Attention to detail with strong process discipline.
