Position: Manager – IT & Cybersecurity

Location: Bangaluru, India

Reports To: Director of IT

Position Overview:

The Manager – IT & Cybersecurity is responsible for leading and executing the regional IT and information security strategy in alignment with global IRISS standards and business objectives. This role oversees IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and regional IT operations while ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) requirements. The Senior IT Manager partners closely with global IT leadership and Asia Pacific business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable IT services.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the Asia Pacific IT function, aligning regional initiatives with global IT and information security strategy.

· Act as the primary IT and information security business partner for Asia Pacific leadership.

· Develop and manage regional IT budgets, roadmaps, and resource plans.

· Drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery, security posture, and user satisfaction.

· Lead and support ISO/IEC 27001 compliance across the Asia Pacific region in alignment with global IRISS ISMS.

· Implement, maintain, and improve ISMS controls, policies, procedures, and risk treatment plans.

· Conduct and support risk assessments, internal audits, management reviews, and corrective actions.

· Ensure regional compliance with information security policies, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, local APAC privacy laws), and customer security requirements.

· Coordinate with global teams and external auditors during ISO 27001 certification and surveillance audits.

· Promote security awareness and best practices across the region.

· Oversee regional IT infrastructure including networks, cloud services, servers, endpoints, and collaboration platforms.

· Ensure system availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

· Manage third-party vendors, MSPs, and security service providers.

· Oversee regional support and adoption of enterprise systems including ERP, Salesforce, and manufacturing systems.

· Partner with global IT on system upgrades, integrations, and standardization initiatives.

· Lead regional IT and security-related projects including system implementations and infrastructure upgrades.

· Ensure effective change management, documentation, and user communication.

· Track project risks, timelines, and outcomes.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

· 8–12+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership roles.

· Strong experience with enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.

· Hands-on experience supporting or managing ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS implementation or compliance.

· Experience supporting ERP, CRM (Salesforce).

· Proven vendor and stakeholder management experience.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and risk management skills.

· Experience leading IT and security operations in a multi-country Asia Pacific environment.

· Background in manufacturing, industrial, or B2B technology organizations.

· Certifications such as ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, ITIL, CISSP, PMP, or cloud certifications (AWS).
