Manager – Land Acquisition (Renewable Energy Projects)

Location:

Fatehgarh, Rajasthan

Experience:

14 to 18 years (Land acquisition experience in large infrastructure / renewable energy projects mandatory)

Qualification:

Any Bachelor’s degree (Engineering / Law preferred)

Job Purpose:

To lead end-to-end land acquisition activities for large-scale renewable energy projects, ensuring timely land availability, clear titles, statutory compliance, and smooth coordination with landowners and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Land Acquisition & Title Clearance

  • Identify and acquire land (private / government) for solar and wind projects.

  • Conduct due diligence, title verification, and land feasibility assessments.

  • Coordinate with legal teams for title clearance, agreements, and registrations.

    • Stakeholder & Government Liaison

  • Liaise with local revenue authorities (Tehsildar, Patwari, SDM, Collector office).

  • Manage relationships with landowners, local influencers, and village committees.

  • Handle negotiations, compensation discussions, and conflict resolution.

    • Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure execution and registration of sale deeds, lease deeds, right-of-way (ROW), and access agreements.

  • Maintain complete land documentation and land banks.

  • Ensure compliance with local land laws and state renewable policies.

    • Project Coordination

  • Work closely with Projects, Legal, and Engineering teams to align land handover timelines.

  • Support site access, fencing, and boundary demarcation.

  • Ensure smooth land handover for project execution.

    • Risk Management & Reporting

  • Identify land-related risks and propose mitigation plans.

  • Provide regular status updates, MIS, and land progress reports to HO.

  • Support audits, inspections, and due diligence requirements.

    • Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong experience in Rajasthan land acquisition, especially desert regions.

  • Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills.

  • Strong understanding of revenue records, land laws, and registration processes.

  • Ability to work independently at site and manage local stakeholders.

  • High integrity and documentation discipline.

    • Mandatory Requirements:

  • 14–18 years of land acquisition experience.

  • Hands-on experience in Rajasthan, preferably Fatehgarh / Jaisalmer belt.

  • Willingness to be based full-time at site.

    • Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in renewable energy projects (Solar / Wind).

  • Strong local network in Rajasthan revenue departments.

  • Experience handling large land parcels (500+ acres).
