Job Description
The Training Manager will lead the plant’s learning and development agenda, ensuring workforce capability through job certifications, re-certifications, continuous skills development, and talent management initiatives. This role combines training facilitation expertise with HR business partnership skills to align people development with business priorities.
You will be responsible for:
1. Job Certification & Re-certification
Design and manage structured certification programs for all machine operator roles.
Ensure timely re-certification and compliance with internal and external standards.
Maintain accurate training and certification records in the LMS.
2. Training Facilitation & Skills Development
Deliver engaging technical and behavioral training sessions for plant employees.
Use modern facilitation techniques to drive learner engagement and retention.
Conduct skill gap analysis and implement targeted development programs.
3. HR Business Partnership
Partner with line managers to identify talent development needs linked to business goals.
Support succession planning and implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
Act as an HRBP for learning-related interventions and employee capability building.
4. Talent Management & Leadership Development
Identify high-potential employees and create structured development pathways.
Facilitate leadership and supervisory development programs at the plant level.
5. Compliance & Governance
Ensure adherence to statutory and corporate training requirements.
Prepare training dashboards and reports for audits and management reviews.
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA in HR, Engineering, or related field
10 + years of experience in Learning & Development, with exposure to HRBP responsibilities.
Proven experience in training facilitation (technical and behavioral programs).
Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
Key Skills:
Strong facilitation and presentation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences.
HRBP capabilities – stakeholder management, talent planning, and employee development.
Analytical mindset for skill gap analysis and training effectiveness measurement.
Ability to manage multiple projects and drive results independently.
