Manager – Maintenance Operations

Aout the Role**:

We are looking for a skilled **Mechanical Engineer** to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery and equipment in various projects . The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that machines are installed and commissioned efficiently, safely, and according to the company’s and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Planning & Execution**:

- Lead and execute the mechanical installation and commissioning of machinery and equipment for projects.

- Prepare detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

- **Installation & Commissioning**:

- Supervise the installation of machines, ensuring proper alignment, assembly, and calibration.

- Commission machinery and perform test runs to ensure they meet performance specifications.

- Troubleshoot any issues during the installation and commissioning phases.

- **Coordination with Teams**:

- Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to oversee the delivery and installation of equipment.

- **Technical Support & Maintenance**:

- Provide technical support during the operational phase by diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues with installed machinery.

- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machines to ensure optimal performance.

- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain proper records and documentation of the installation and commissioning processes.

- Prepare project reports, technical documentation, and maintenance logs.

- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure that all installations comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

- Ensure machinery and equipment are compliant with industry regulations and standards.

- **Training & Handover**:

- Provide training and guidance to operators and maintenance teams on machine operation and safety procedures.

- Handover the completed project to the operations team with detailed instructions for proper use and maintenance.

#### **Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 5 years of experience in machine installation, commissioning, and maintenance, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machine design, and industrial equipment.

- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

- Hands-on experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals.

- Proficient in using CAD software and other engineering tools.

- Familiarity with project management and scheduling software.

- Understanding of health and safety regulations.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and project management tools.

- Experience in handling turnkey projects is a plus.
