Job Description

Responsibilities : -

  •  VFD & PLC – Installation & Basic programming.
  • Knowledge and hands on improving MTTR and MTBF of machines.
  • Controlling the Spares consumption – by effective PM.
  • Hands on resolving machine breakdowns and implementing permanent solution.
  • Lead the Predictive Maintenance workings and plan the activities based on the criticality of the findings.
  • Hands on TPM implementation.
  • Lead the Safety working of the department and train the subordinates.\
  • Plant modernisation projects – Integrating Industry system.\
  • Knowledge and hands on Utilities which includes – Air Compressors, Chillers (including water cooled and Air cooled), Cooling towers, RO plant, STP plant, RTPFC/APFC, PCC panels, RMU, VCB, ACB, Nitrogen generating plant, Centralized Air Conditioners, HVAC, AHU, HT transformers and its statutory maintaining requirements, Electrical statutory requirements as per factory/electrical inspector rules, Bore wells and Pumps, etc.
  • Hands on Safety activities statutory for machine and factory workings. 

    • Qualification - BE / BTech

    Technical:
    • VFD & PLC: Installation, troubleshooting & basic programming
    • Hands-on experience with electrical panels (PCC, MCC, RMU, RTPFC/APFC)
    • Expertise in ACB, VCB, HT transformers & switchgear maintenance
    • Knowledge of statutory electrical requirements as per Factory/EI norms
    • Operation and maintenance of Air Compressors
    • Chillers (air-cooled & water-cooled)
    • Cooling Towers, HVAC, AHU & Centralized AC Systems


    Functional: 
    • Preventive, Predictive & Breakdown Maintenance management
    • TPM implementation (Autonomous, Planned & Focused Improvement pillars)
    • MTTR and MTBF analysis and improvement


    Behavioural: 
    • Strong problem-solving & analytical mindset
    • Ability to work under pressure during breakdowns
    • Leadership skills to guide technicians and junior engineers
    • Proactive approach in identifying and resolving issues
