Job Summary


Lead in delivering innovation & best practice in all aspects of Organisational Design and Learning & Development to ensure that people, processes and system organizational and technological changes, are effectively and efficiently planned for, developed managed and integrated with overall business plans. Additionally, this role is responsible for the continuous development of process improvement in talent management, performance management, organization design and culture renewal to ensure continuous organisation development. Innovation that grows, develop and leverage MML’s intangible assets (organisation, talent, competence, culture & performance) through the provision of strategically aligned OD and Talent Development for increased organisational effectiveness.

  • Job Duties

  • Develop and review companywide learning & development policies, procedure, and processes to ensure relevance to business needs and best practice

  • Design, direct, and manage a company-wide process of organization development that addresses issues such as Talent & Performance Management, succession planning, superior workforce development, key employee retention, organization design, and change management

  • Develop and implement a structured roll out of all employee’s personal development plans both on managerial and specialist career paths in line with business needs

  • Responsible for the management and analyses of Divisional annual training plans

  • Provides advisory services to Divisional Head as per talent & performance management/L&D cycle and ad-hoc L&D intervention requests

  • Implement strategies to assess pre, during and post training effectiveness

  • Manage companywide L&D budgets

  • Develop relevant policies, procedures, and processes to govern the organisational design and L&D delivery within the business

  • Manage companywide on boarding process.

  • Manage Ghana’s MTN related Academy responsibilities, inclusive of management & Tracking of MTN Academy Ring-fence Account

  • Education

  • Minimum of a First Degree in Human Resource Management /Industrial Psychology or equivalent qualification in a related field.

  • A postgraduate qualification or relevant certification SHRM-CP, SPHRi, Certified Trainer, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ proven experience in human resource management specifically in talent development & management.

  • At least 3 years of which must have been in a supervisory position in a similar function
