What you become a part of:
The successful candidate will support the strategic and execution-driven growth of the Respiratory & Immunology (Resp. & Imm.) portfolio, with a primary focus on OTx brands and trade-led growth engines, supported by strong ATL and digital marketing execution.
Reporting to the Head – Marketing (Rx), this role combines brand-level execution with hands-on delivery, requiring close cross-functional collaboration, strong commercial understanding, and the ability to drive consistent marketing activities across geographies.
What to expect:
1. Portfolio and Brand Execution-
- Contribute to the AOP and annual brand planning process by developing brand plans aligned to overall marketing strategy and business performance targets.
- Assist in managing portfolio architecture across key Resp. & Imm. segments, ensuring:
- Clear growth objectives for each brand.
- Defined role and positioning within the portfolio.
- Alignment on investment priorities and lifecycle plans.
- Support brand prioritization initiatives to ensure focus on high-impact brands.
2. Brand Strategy, ATL & POS Execution-
- Ideate and implement creative promotional and activation campaigns to drive brand and portfolio performance.
- Execute approved brand strategies covering:
- OTx / trade-led activation.
- ATL and digital marketing.
- POS and trade / in-shop activation programs.
- Rx-focused medico marketing and scientific detailing, whenever required.
- Support and execute new product launches, extensions, and relaunches against defined success metrics.
3. Trade, Field Force & Channel Coordination-
- Oversee marketing implementation and execution for assigned brands across markets by influencing country marketing, trade, and commercial teams.
- Design and coordinate product and therapy training programs for the field force and trade teams to improve in-market execution.
4. Performance Tracking and Governance-
- Collate, analyze, and share market, customer, and competitive insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Generate insights from primary and secondary sales data and present monthly dashboards and performance reviews to stakeholders.
- Track and report marketing performance metrics, including:
- Growth vs AOP.
- ROI and effectiveness of ATL, digital and and POS spends.
- Quality and consistency of launch and campaign execution.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration-
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned planning and execution.
- Support identification of new product opportunities within the Resp. & Imm. therapy area.
Essential qualifications & experience:
- Postgraduate qualification in Management / Marketing / Business (MBA preferred).
- 8–12 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing, with strong exposure to OTx, trade marketing, ATL, and digital-led brand building.
- Working knowledge of Rx marketing and medico detailing.
- Prior experience of working for Africa market is preferred.

- Commercially aware with an appreciation of ROI and performance metrics.
