Roles and Responsibilities Responsibilities: Supplier Quality assurance –consists following activities.
  • Monitoring of the vendor quality levels & work for improvements to the higher level.
  • Monitoring of the IHR (in-house rejection report) , analysis with vendor team to implement corrections to reduce IHR to zero .
  • Proactive corrections in process to get zero defect supplies from vendors.
  • Process audit as per IPO & closing gaps observed, Improvements in process wrt to issues observed.
  • Analysis of the issues reported by the plant in vendor supplies & fool proof corrections to avoid defect in future, implementation of Poka yoke, hardware interlocks.
  • Analysis of field returned samples for the root cause & corrective actions finalization with interface depts. Like R&D, CQA, plants & its implementation & monitoring for the effectiveness.
  • Study process to improve detectability of the defects.
    • Competency Requirements
  • Proficient in Electrical/ Electronic automotive vehicle system.
  • Knowledge of vehicle powertrain and the interfaces arising out of electrification.
  • Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations, applicable globally.
  • having thorough knowledge in Electronic parts, assemblies & its processes.
  • Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application
  • Experience in quality systems of electronic components for automotive application –CDI, ECU, voltage Regulator, sensors, digital instrument clusters (speedometers)
  • Preparation of master samples with vendor team for day to day calibration of the test rigs.
  • Process review & upgradation of the process.
  • Bench marking with similar parts, VA/ VE

    • Soft Skill set: Excel, Power Point, SAP, Team Centre
