Role & responsibilities

• Mechanical design of SPM machines for Winding and any application as per specification.
• Use design software to develop models and drawings of new products.
• Identify solutions to improve production efficiency.
• Responsible for the specification compliance of designs.
• Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, thermal and structural analysis
• Responsible for mechanical part selection taking into consideration of availability and cost.
• Responsible for creation of 2D & 3D drawings to allow manufacture or purchase.
• Responsible for generation of Assembly drawings and bills of materials.
• Finalized design and proceed prints to the procurement department.
• Ensures the mechanical design output fits in with all other aspects of the design.
• Responsible for reporting progress of all assigned tasks to the Design Manager.
• Creation of technical reports and documentation if required.
• Responsible for checking drawing/parts libraries are up to date and correct regularly.
• Capable of Handling Design team of 10-15 Design Engineers

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience :-6 years of experience as Mechanical Design Manager in SPM Industry
• Qualification :- BE in Mechanical or Mechantronics
