We're seeking a Manager – Client Accounting, someone who brings both operational rigor and strategic thinking to lead teams, manage key client relationships, and ensure excellence in accounting service delivery.

Some of the things you will be doing

Business Process & Operational Management

  • Overseeing a team of chartered accountants responsible for end-to-end client accounting and reporting including bookkeeping, statutory accounts, VAT, and regulatory reporting of legal entities
  • Responsible for overall service delivery to clients including periodical management accounts, liquidation accounts, year-end financial statement reviews and end to end audit support
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, review and approve documentation, and maintain process quality within agreed SLAs
  • Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards
  • Participate in tactical meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to review KPIs and performance metrics
  • People Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team culture through coaching, performance appraisals, and personalized development plans
  • Encourage collaboration, engagement, and continuous learning across the team
  • Client Management

  • Own and manage client relationships end-to-end, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and revenue targets
  • Handle escalations, proactively manage queries, and deliver complex financial solutions
  • Drive timely closure of client audits and ensure regulatory compliance as per jurisdiction
  • Present financial insights at client board meetings and act as a trusted advisor on accounting matters
  • Continuous Improvement & Risk Management

  • Promote process improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, reduce turnaround time, and eliminate non-value-add activities
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks and respond effectively in crisis or outage situations
  • Support migration efforts and ensure SOPs and process controls are well-documented and followed
  • What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • Education: Qualified CA or ACCA
  • Experience :7+ years in Accounting & Reporting, with at least 3 -4 years in a team leadership roleStrong background in financial reporting under FRS 102, IFRS, or local GAAPProven ability to prepare and analyze complex financial statements and ensure compliance with local/global standardsHands-on experience with XBRL preparation and reporting
  • Leadership :Contribute to policy decisions and long-term planning as part of the senior leadership teamDemonstrate ownership, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindsetInspire and guide teams while promoting best practices in accounting and service delivery
  • Communication :Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong interpersonal and presentation skills with client-facing experience
  • Other Skills :Advanced proficiency in Excel/MS OfficeHighly organized with strong personal time managementEvidence of driving process improvements and risk controlFamiliarity with regulatory environments and global service delivery models
