Job Description:

This opportunity is part of the Global Technology Enterprise Products & Platforms (EPP) Team, focused on Cloud ERP, where our vision is to "Always be a people led, product centric, future focused & trusted technology partner of choice".

The Manager, Technical Lead supports the Technical Product Management leadership in technical / IT related delivery topics (e.g., trade-offs in implementation approaches, tech stack selection) and provides technical guidance for developers / squad members. Manages the output (quality and efficiency) of external vendor squads to ensure they are delivering to the standards required by McD. Participate in roadmap and backlog preparation. Builds and maintains technical process flows and solution architecture diagrams on Product level. Leads acceptance criteria creation and validation of development work. Supports hiring and development of engineers. This position reports to the Sr. Technical Product Manager.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Product roadmap and backlog preparation:

• In partnership with the TPM, participate in roadmap and backlog prioritization, providing technical perspectives towards translating Epic into user stories for the Develop team to work on, as well as backlog refinement processes.

Agile ceremonies:

• Attend all product team ceremonies and act as leader of the Software Development Engineers

Technical solutioning and feature development / releases:

• Lead and manage mid/large Teams consisting of Sr. Technical Analysts, Business Analysts, developers, and Product QA Teams.
• Owns and authors the technical design for markets and related data mapping. Provides guidance and necessary clarifications to the boundary and integration systems.
• Works with boundary and integration systems to troubleshoot and mitigate any source/destination issues and requirements.
• 10+ years of software development experience (or 8+ years' experience with a technical master's degree)
• Knowledge of Agile software development process including application of Agile techniques and delivery practices and promoting adoption of Agile methodologies to secure outcome-driven mindset in product teams.
• Hold extensive development experience in Data Modeling, SQL, PLSQL, including the creation of Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Views, and Performance Tuning.
• Proficient in Fusion-based Integration development utilizing OIC.
• Work and support with Business Users and Product Teams on Incident Management/Request Management/Problem Management /Change Management and Knowledge Management.
• Analyze Patches and plan patch deployment activities.
• Work with Solution Architects for maintaining, developing, and enhancing the product.
• Driving market requirements, designing solutions, and assessing technical issues and working on resolutions with Team.
• Act as a Subject matter expert in Oracle Cloud ERP Technology stack. Experience in deployment roll out across network of geographically.
• Collaborate with other technology teams including internal teams, service provider and vendors. Ensure application service levels are maintained as per agreed standards.
• Accountable for the deployment of new features including QA, push to production and defect remediation. Ensure code development is in line with the architectural, quality and security standards and best practices.
• Maintain documentation standards for all software and lead acceptance criteria validation of development work.
• Management of software developers
• Manages the daily activities of the developers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• Oracle certifications preferred.
• Should be able to convert business problems to technical solutions driving automation and innovations
• Technical expert skills in Oracle Cloud ERP and areas such as: Oracle API's, SQL, XML, PLSQL, OTBI/ BIP/FRS reports, FBDI, ADFDI, BI Extract for FTP, Integration, Conversions and Personalization,
• Skilled in ESS Jobs, OM Extensions, Flex Fields (DFF, EFF, KFF), Lookups, Value sets, and Fusion Apps functional setup manager configurations.
• Expertise in DevOps, Security and Systems Performance is desirable.
• Understanding of Oracle Applications FBDI templates to load data into Oracle Cloud Applications.
• Understanding of Oracle cloud platforms and experience with cloud-native architecture.
• In depth experience working with Oracle ERP Cloud Finance modules - Payables, Receivables, General ledger, Cash Management, Assets, Projects etc.
