Manager, Product & Engineering

We'relooking for passionate and skilledManager, Product &Engineering, for our SRE Operations to ensure our Product & Reliability Engineering Organization can successfully operate Enterprise Operations.

This role leads the design, development, and maintenance of key products and supporting technology infrastructure in an Agile environment. It manages teams of all levels of Site Reliability Engineers, architects, and technical staff to deliver product and engineering outcomes. The role includes responsibility for attracting, hiring, and retaining a skilled full stack team to support product and platform goals. Success is measured by timely delivery of product features, team performance, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The work impacts organizational capabilities by ensuring reliable product functionality and fostering productive relationships with customers and partners.

They rapidly deliver maintaining world-class operational excellence to T-Mobile business customers both internal and external. They build short- and long-term technical strategies in partnership with internal technology and product partners and work very closely with IT partner teams working on multiple projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Effectively manages team to achieve results by providingappropriate direction,timelydevelopmental feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews and conversations. Theymonitorand measure work tasks to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budget.
• Drives continuous development practice improvements across technical disciplines (e.g., team structure, roles, processes, tooling, security & compliance).
• Handles technical relationships with assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.
• Interviews and hires qualified team members, striving to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff whenrequired.
• Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

Preferred Skills and Technologies:

• Experience inmanaging or supervising a team of 10+ all levels of Site Reliability Engineers.
• Experience working in large data environments and on large data log aggregation software like Splunk, Open Search, or Elastic Search.
• Experience with Machine learning and AIOps software.
• Knowledgeable ofindustry standards for agile development using tools such as Jira and Gitlab.
• Experience with SQL / Oracle and Observability tooling likeOTELand Thousand Eyes, Kubernetes, distributed systems, and multi-cloud infrastructure
• Familiaritywith Grafana, Victoria Metrics, Open Telemetrytechnologies preferred.
