Responsibilities :


Production Planning & Scheduling


• Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand forecasts.


• Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, machines, and materials.


• Monitor production progress to ensure deadlines are met.


Quality Assurance & Compliance


• Ensure adherence to industry standards, quality guidelines, and safety regulations.


• Oversee quality checks during various production stages and address quality-related issues promptly.


• Implement and maintain quality control processes and procedures.


• Ensure adherence to Standard Work Instructions (SWI) while performing operations.


• Review and analyse rework, rejection, and scrap controls


• Review IMS risks, opportunities, and controls for internal and external issues related to production activities and processes.


Team Leadership & Development


• Lead, train, and supervise the production team, including operators, supervisors, and technicians.


• Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback for professional development.


• Ensure compliance following safety protocols.


Process Improvement & Cost Management


• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.


• Introduce automation or advanced technologies to improve production capabilities.


• Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures.


Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination


• Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock.


• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline supply chain operations.


• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.


Reporting & Documentation


• Prepare and present production reports, metrics, and analysis to the management.


• Ensure proper documentation of processes exists and is being followed


Safety and Incident Management


• Ensure compliance with applicable EHS legal requirements related to Environment, Health, and Safety in the shop floor area.


• Investigate workplace-related incidents, near misses, and accidents.


• Report hazards, incidents, and accidents, and take corrective actions as needed.
