Overview
Assist and support Line of Business Head in ensuring technical profitability of Fire and Miscellaneous business is attained.
Responsibilities
- 1. Ensure adherence to underwriting governance both local and group underwriting guideline and policies
- 2. Compliance to all legal and regulatory requirements
- 3. Manage all underwriting aspects of Fire & Miscellaneous line of business.
- 4. To be involved in all projects requiring support
Main Responsibilities
- To perform underwriting function which includes risk analysis, develop terms and conditions, placement of reinsurance/coinsurance and make underwriting decision, within given authority
- Ensure that risk is properly underwritten in accordance with the guidelines, rules and regulations.
- To conduct renewal review exercise 3 months prior to renewal date, ensuring risk is within company’s appetite and written at the adequate term
