Overview

Overseeing the buyers and project buyers to ensure ordering and delivery of required materials to meet production build plan and customer forecast.

Resolve material shortages with suppliers to prevent production line down and late delivery to customers.

Timely disposition and return of rejected materials at IQC, production and RMA due to defective material to the supplier. Failure analysis, corrective and preventive action may be required from the supplier.

Allocate purchasing resources (project buyer/buyer) to ensure material readiness for new product introduction, EVT, DVT, MVT proto build and mass production.

Ensure purchasing procedures, processes and practices are compliance to ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 QSR, EICC, regulatory and safety agencies.

Work closely GSBM on key supplier’s performance on delivery, quality, responsiveness and cost reduction opportunities.
