Overview
The Manager, Regional Business, is responsible for managing sales, clinical, and business activities across all Division Programs in the assigned region aligning region objectives with Division mission, vision and purpose, Division program priorities and overall company priorities
Responsibilities
• Ensure personal and team compliance with COOK values, quality system procedures, policies and relevant medical device standards and regulations
• Ensure the region efficiently and effectively meets the needs of the customer, by developing a plan to address and communicate customer needs and possible solutions to Division leadership
• Responsible for ensuring the business within the region is efficient, effective, and compliant in meeting the needs of our customers. Develop a business plan to address and communicate to Division leadership
• Responsible for Division KPI’s, customer satisfaction, and patient outcomes as well as P&L, with emphasis on sales, expenses, margin and direct contribution income of the assigned geographic or market vertical segment
• Determine sales, clinical, and business resources within the assigned region by assessing all parameters associated with the region. Allocate those resources appropriately according to customers’ needs
• Effectively manage the clinical and business call points across division programs to ensure all customer call points are serviced at a high level
• Collaborate with Customer Support and Delivery to ensure appropriate conversion and customer services are utilized effectively and efficiently to serve the customers within assigned market
• Work closely with BCI/Strategic Accounts to ensure RFP’s and Contracts are acted upon, utilized, managed and monitored effectively and efficiently
• Collaborate with Human Resources in the process of hiring, developing and retaining a high performing, diverse workforce within the company
• Develop and execute a sales strategy with targeted future growth opportunities through established best practices/behaviours of existing business within assigned geographic or market vertical segment
• To form partnerships and work closely with distributors to assist them with strategies to generate increased sales.
• Provide ongoing clinical support and education to distributors to assist them to support the customers in an optimal way.
• Consistently collaborate with Market Development to establish, measure, meet and exceed business plan goals for each program
• Continuously evaluate and improve the performance of overall market through monitoring metrics and listening to feedback from customers and employees. Take action and resolve issues and gaps quickly and effectively.
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and feedback both formally through the performance management process and informally through daily discussions and interactions, while recognizing employees for their contributions
• Ensure roles and responsibilities, performance expectations, and training requirements are developed and clearly documented and communicated to each employee. Cultivate a safe, secure, and supportive environment where employees can thrive and morale is maintained
• Responsible for performance and wage reviews for team members
• Meet deadlines and ensure employees complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, submission of performance reviews, etc. in a timely manner
• Identify and develop current and future leadership team
• Maintain our culture, values, and commitment to Ethics and Compliance by recognizing, demonstrating, and enforcing appropriate and compliant behavior
• Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product specific requirements are met
• Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policy.
