**The Opportunity**



This position works out of our México City location in the Abbott Nutritional Division.



Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As the Regulatory Affairs Manager, you’ll have the chance to Manages teams within the Regulatory Affairs Sub-Function. Focus is on policy and strategy implementation and control rather than development. Typically handles short-term operational/tactical responsibilities.



**What You’ll Do**



+ As the Manager of the Regulatory Affairs Sub-Function, oversees the strategy implementation and operations for directing the development of product registration submission, progress reports, supplements, amendments, or periodic experience reports.

+ Interacts with regulatory agencies to expedite approval of pending registration.

+ Serves as regulatory liaison throughout the product lifecycle.

+ Participates in some of the following: product plan development and implementation, regulatory strategy, risk management, and chemistry manufacturing control (CMC).

+ Ensures timely approval of new drugs, biologics, or medical devices and continued approval of marketed products.

+ Serves as regulatory representative to marketing, research teams, and regulatory agencies.

+ Advises development and/or marketing teams on manufacturing changes, line extensions, technical labeling, appropriate regulations, and interpretations.



**Required Qualifications**



+ Bachelor degree in Nutriton, Food Science Engineer

+ MBA

+ 10+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs in food and beverage industry

+ 5+ year of experience as Manager leading multidisciplinary teams

+ Fluent English

+ Skills: Strategic Communication, Organizational, Planning, Influencig, Lidership
