Looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant for the Revenue Operations team.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to join our team as a Revenue Recognition Specialist. This role is critical in ensuring accurate revenue recognition, compliance with Ind AS, and delivering insightful MIS reports to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, strong knowledge of Ind AS and ability to collaborate across functions to drive efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in line with applicable Ind AS.
  • Collaborate with internal Tech team to implement revenue accounting systems and automation.
  • Review customer contracts, billing terms and milestones to evaluate revenue recognition.
  • Liaise with Legal and Business teams to obtain clarity on terms that impact revenue accounting.
  • Partner with business teams to resolve revenue-related queries and provide guidance on accounting treatment.
  • Ensure compliance with GST and other regulatory norms related to revenue & invoicing process.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly MIS reports on revenue, KPIs, and revenue trends.
  • Highlight key concerns in revenue and accounts receivable and recommend corrective actions to stakeholders.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual revenue accounting close activities.
  • Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Maintain strong internal controls to ensure data integrity and reliability of financial reporting.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement in reporting and reconciliations.
  • Provide on the job training to the team members.


Desired Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Ind AS and revenue recognition principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage timelines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Familiarity with GST regulations and other statutory compliance requirements.
