Position: Manager – Risk Management
Location: Gurugram
Reports To: CFO
Role Overview
The Manager – Risk Management will be responsible for strengthening the organization’s risk framework by proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all business processes. The role involves internal control testing, risk quantification, and ensuring compliance with internal financial controls (IFC) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct process walkthroughs and control testing to evaluate the effectiveness of existing SOPs and IFC controls.
- Report deficiencies and ensure timely remediation in collaboration with process owners.
- Proactively identify and assess risks across the organization’s risk universe.
- Perform risk analysis, classification, and quantification for Strategic, Operational, Financial, Compliance, Legal & Regulatory risks.
- Assist in developing measurable metrics for risk quantification.
- Support creation and implementation of risk mitigation plans for identified risks.
- Track implementation of control systems and closure of action plans.
- Enhance risk mitigation measures and ensure compliance with governance standards.
- Contribute to planning, designing, and updating risk management frameworks and mitigation plans periodically.
- Assist in preparing decks for Committees and Sub-Committees.
- Compile and submit group-level risk reports as per timelines.
Qualifications & Experience;
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- 2–3 years of experience in Internal Audit or Risk Management.
- Strong understanding of internal financial controls, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and internal controls.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Point) and risk management tools.
- Candidates with hospitality auditing experience is preferred for the role.
