What will you do:
The SAP MM Manager plays a key leadership role in the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP S/4HANA solutions focused on Materials Management and integrated supply chain processes. This role is instrumental in driving digital transformation, leading end-to-end projects, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver best-in-class solutions aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP functional expertise, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead teams through complex implementations.
Responsibilities:
Project Delivery:
• Lead the end-to-end implementation and deployment of SAP MM modules in S/4HANA environments.
• Conduct workshops and gather business requirements across sourcing, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing functions.
• Manage solution design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment for SAP MM and related modules (EWM, TM, PP, SD).
• Perform gap analysis and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Solution Design & Roadmap:
• Develop and maintain the SAP MM solution roadmap in line with corporate strategy.
• Leverage experience in EWM/TM/PP/SD to design scalable, integrated solutions.
• Advise on best practices for procurement, inventory management, and vendor management processes in S/4HANA.
Ecosystem Understanding & Integration:
• Assess current-state architecture and design TO-BE processes for SAP S/4HANA.
• Integrate SAP with third-party systems and ensure smooth data flow across platforms.
• Evaluate risks and develop mitigation strategies for system implementation.
SAP HANA Solution Development & Deployment:
• Lead development activities, testing cycles, and cutover strategies.
• Oversee go-live support and transition to steady-state operations.
• Ensure system performance, user training, and issue resolution post-deployment.
Innovation & Knowledge Management:
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across SAP MM processes.
• Design and deliver internal training programs for capability building.
• Promote cross-skilling within the team and mentor junior consultants.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with internal business units, external vendors, and implementation partners.
• Translate business needs into technology solutions and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Provide strategic input to senior leadership on SAP transformation initiatives.
Technical Competencies:
- Experience for S4HANA functionalities: EWM/TM/PP/SD/MM
- SAP S/4 HANA Solution in Industry like Manufacturing /CPG/Retail
- Expeience with SAP Integration with Third-Party Systems.
- Strong analytical and writing skills to build viewpoints on industry trends
• Deep functional knowledge in SAP MM and working knowledge in SAP EWM, TM, PP, SD.
• 4–6 full-cycle SAP project implementations with a focus on S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP integrations (e.g., middleware, third-party apps).
• Strong understanding of supply chain domains: logistics, warehousing, procurement, sales, and manufacturing.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 7years of SAP MM experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementations in manufacturing, retail, or CPG sectors.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
