Job Description: Technical Manager



Position Overview



The Technical Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex technical projects within scope, budget, and timeline. The role requires a blend of project management expertise and strong technical understanding to collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and customers.







Key Responsibilities



Project Planning & Execution





+ Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.



+ Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource plans.



+ Lead end-to-end execution of technical projects.





Technical Collaboration





+ Work closely with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and quality.



+ Translate business requirements into technical specifications.



+ Conduct technical risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.





Stakeholder Management





+ Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.



+ Communicate project progress, risks, and issues through reports, dashboards, and presentations.



+ Manage expectations, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.





Risk & Issue Management





+ Identify, document, and track project risks and impediments.



+ Implement proactive mitigation strategies.



+ Handle escalation paths and ensure timely resolution.





Quality & Compliance





+ Ensure deliverables meet functional, technical, and security standards.



+ Work with QA/Eng teams on testing strategies and acceptance criteria.



+ Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.









Required Skills & Qualifications





+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).



+ 15+ years of experience in technical support, management or related roles.



+ Strong understanding of network & security technologies



+ Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, system architecture, and cloud platforms, etc.



+ Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.



+ Certifications like CCNP/CCIE, CEH/CISSP, ITIL, or Cloud platforms are a plus.









Preferred Skills





+ Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams.



+ Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OCP).



+ Familiarity with Network practices (CI/CD, automation).



+ Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.



+ Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.



+ Adaptable and comfortable with fast-paced, evolving environments
