Manager, Shariah Advisory (GETB)

Reporting to the Head of Shariah, the incumbent requires to work closely with the Shariah Committee, provide day-to-day advisory support on Shariah matters and ensuring compliance with Shariah related laws in all aspects of the Takaful business. The Shariah Manager plays a key role in product development and maintaining the Shariah integrity of the company’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on Shariah related matters to the company’s management, departments and business units.
• Ensure all takaful products, services and operational activities within the organisation is adhere to the Shariah principles and compliant.
• Work closely with product development team to ensure new products are designed in accordance with Shariah guidelines.
