Job Summary:

This role leads (Workday Functional and Integration ) teams of Software Developers, SDETs, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to build and maintain systems, platforms, and tools that support business operations. It manages the development and delivery of software solutions for internal and external business customers. The role involves creating technical strategies in collaboration with technology and product partners to align with organizational goals. Success is measured by timely delivery, quality of software solutions, and effective team management. The work impacts the organization by enabling efficient technology solutions that support business needs and customer satisfaction.

  • Delivery Leader Our purpose is to deliver successful outcomes for our stakeholders and partners to move their business forward.
  • Business Operator We are all shareholders, and we must strive to manage our business with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manager of Software Engineering is ultimately responsible for the delivery of the technology and must be adept on how to manage people effectively to achieve outcome-based delivery of solutions.

Certification in Leading SAFe is preferred.

Familiarity (Nice to Have) with some of the technologies the team will be executing on, preferred:

  • Workday Functionality: Recruiting, Talent, Payroll, Core HCM, Extend, Adaptive Planning, Prism, Studio Integrations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop software engineering teams through coaching and performance management (30%).
  • Improve development practices, processes, tooling, security, and compliance (30%).
  • Manage technical vendor relationships and product alignment (20%).
  • Recruit and onboard team members to support agile delivery (10%).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned (10%).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience managing or supervising teams of 15 developers or more for 3+Years.
