Manager - Sourcing & Development

Key Tasks & Accountabilities:

• Lunch Box category product range development as per sales and market requirements.
• NPD: Responsible for development of all parts related to products including molding parts, keypad, BOP parts, painting & plating, and mold development for Lunch Box and Thermoware categories.
• Developing a long-term vendor ecosystem based on vendor capacity availability and cost effectiveness.
• Ensuring long-term partnerships with suppliers and managing day-to-day supplier performance to meet Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) parameters.
• Executing vendor evaluation, vendor rating calculations, and corrective actions for underperforming vendors.
• Continuous evaluation of vendor performance to ensure adherence to specifications and supply of quality materials / job work execution.
• Stock planning, timely procurement, and effective inventory management for the category.

Important Competencies:

• Strategic sourcing and vendor development to build a strong supplier base.
• Strong NPD domain knowledge for sheet metal and plastic parts development.
• Inventory planning and management to mitigate supply chain challenges.
• Alternate source development to reduce single-supplier dependency.
• Costing expertise for sheet metal and plastic parts to ensure best buying prices.
• Good understanding of sourcing and procurement best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E. / B.Tech
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Sourcing and Development
