Role Overview
The incumbent will be stationed at a key client location and will be responsible for driving B2B sales of Solar Modules & PV Cells, managing strategic accounts, developing new business opportunities, and acting as the single point of contact between the client and internal manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Resident Sales SPOC for Solar Modules & PV Cells business at client location
Drive B2B / Institutional sales of Solar Modules & PV Cells to EPCs, IPPs, developers, and large corporates
Manage key accounts, ensuring order inflow, repeat business, and long-term relationships
Identify new tenders, RFQs, and bulk supply opportunities for modules and PV cells
Coordinate with manufacturing, planning, quality, logistics, and finance teams for order execution
Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
Track market pricing, competitor movements, technology trends (Mono PERC, TOPCon, HJT, etc.)
Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and MIS reporting
Support post-sales coordination to ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in Solar Module / PV Cell sales (B2B)
Sound understanding of solar technologies, BOM, pricing dynamics, and volume contracting
Experience dealing with EPCs, IPPs, developers, OEMs, and institutional buyers
Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and commercial acumen
Ability to operate independently in a resident / on-site sales environment
Preferred Profile
Experience working with solar module or PV cell manufacturers
Exposure to domestic & export module supply contracts
