As Manager Strategy EMEA (m/f/d) you will support the the development and implementation of the strategic agenda for Clarios in the EMEA region. Reporting o the Director Strategy EMEA you will work closely with functional leadership and global stakeholders to analyze strategic issues, prepare recommendations, and contribute to the yearly strategic planning process. You will also coordinate and lead selected cross-functional initatives that drive growth and efficiency.

The position will be based in our EMEA Headquarters location in Hanover, Germany.

What you will do

As Manager Strategy EMEA (m/f/d), your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze market, customer, competitive and technology trends impacting Clarios
• Evaluating business models, growth opportunities, and strategic partnerships, including M&A
• Identifying Clarios’ positioning, gaps, and requirements against critical success factors
• Developing actionable strategies and tactics to drive growth
• Prepare structured analyses and presentations for senior leaders and stakeholders
• Support the yearly update of the EMEA multi-year strategic plan in alignment with global priorities
• Collaborating with Finance and other stakeholders to improve planning processes and outcomes (e.g., sales, CAPEX)
• Tracking progress and impact of strategic initiatives and prepare regular updates
• Leading selected cross-functional projects and initiatives within the EMEA Strategic Plan and Incubator
• Identifying new strategic opportunities and cost-saving measures

What makes you a good fit

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Several years of professional experience in consulting, corporate strategy, strategic planning, business development, or new ventures, ideally within the automotive or battery industry.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale transformation projects (e.g., M&A) and structure complex challenges into fact-based recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex topics
• Ability to prepare clear, fact-based recommendations and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining effective relationships with senior customers, consultants and industry stakeholders
• Ability to influence and facilitate activities in global environments
• Strong and inspiring team player with the ability to motivate, engage, and energize colleagues
• Collborative mindset and ability to work in matrix organizations
• Excellent business judgment and professional standards
• Fluency in English, both in written and in spoken; additional European languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 15%
