Market & Competitive Intelligence- Conduct in-depth market research, competitor benchmarking, and industry analysis.- Track regulatory changes, technological advancements, and customer trends impacting the power solutions industry.- Business Model Innovation
Explore new business models (e.g., renewable energy integration, hybrid solutions, digital services)
Evaluate partnerships, alliances, and M&A opportunities to accelerate growth
Macro Environment Analysis- Evaluate external factors including economic, political, social, technological, environmental, and legal (PESTEL) influences impacting the power generation and energy sectors.- Monitor global energy policies, regulatory frameworks, and sustainability trends to anticipate market shifts and risks.
Segment Analysis- Identify and assess key customer segments based on industry verticals, geographic regions, and usage patterns- Tailor strategic initiatives to address the specific needs, preferences, and growth potential of each segment
Financial & Operational Analysis- Build financial models to assess feasibility of strategic initiatives.- Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to ensure execution of strategic goals.
Stakeholder Engagement- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Finance).- Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership and board committees.Preferred Industries
AutomobileEducation Qualification
MBA from a reputed institution (preferably with specialization in Strategy, Finance, or Marketing).
Engineering background in Mechanical/Electrical/Energy preferred.General Experience
5 to 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting, or business development. - Exposure to energy, power solutions, or manufacturing industries is highly desirable. - Proven track record of developing and executing long-term strategic plans.Critical Experience - KEY deliverables:
Draft and secure approval for Mahindra Powerol’s 5-year strategic roadmap. Identify 2–3 high-potential growth areas (new markets, products, or partnerships). Establish a robust market intelligence framework. Deliver quarterly strategic updates to leadership.System Generated Core Skills
