Responsible for quality, delivery, and cost of procured materials Manage a multi-discipline team Assist in the development of forecast/requirements for area of responsibility Assist in developing and implementing strategy for assigned area of responsibility Implement transition plans to new supplier Assist in creating Strategic Supplier Purchase Agreements Enforce company and department policies and procedures Monitor metrics and take action as appropriate Communicate and clarify departmental goals and metrics Responsible for ensuring monthly budgets are not exceeded; take action to realign to plan if budgets are exceeded Consolidate requisitions as much as possible to obtain leverage pricing Review open requisitions weekly and meet with appropriate buyers on the open requisitions Review placement to requisition need date and length of time in pur...
