Overview
As Manager Sustainability at Cowal, you will provide Senior Leadership with a strong focus on Health and Safety, while overseeing Environment, Training, Risk and Emergency Response functions. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the development, implementation and continual improvement of robust Health and Safety Management Systems that meet statutory requirements and support safe, high-performing operations.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will champion a proactive safety culture, lead risk reduction initiatives and provide trusted advice to site leadership. You will also maintain strong relationships with regulators, community stakeholders and government agencies to protect and enhance the organisation’s licence to operate.
