Job Description

The Manager/Sr Manager Travel will be responsible for managing end-to-end employee travel requirements across all Nuvama Group entities, ensuring seamless coordination, policy compliance, cost optimisation, and superior service delivery.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage end-to-end travel arrangements for all employees, including flights, hotels, cabs, visas, insurance, and foreign exchange (where applicable).
  • Coordinate end-to-end travel, venue selection, hotel bookings, logistics, and agenda planning for business off-sites, leadership meets, team outings, and training programs.
  • Work closely with Business Teams, HR & Finance to design cost-efficient and compliant travel/event plans.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive Travel MIS.
  • Develop dynamic dashboards using MS Excel (Advanced), Power BI, and other internal tools.
  • Publish scheduled reports for Business Heads.
  • Ensure all bookings comply with Nuvama Group Travel Policy across entities. Maintain travel policy trackers and exception logs.
  • Interface with empanelled vendors for rates, negotiated pricing, service levels, and resolution of grievances.
  • Track vendor SLAs, performance metrics, billing timeliness, and support contract renewals with Admin & Legal.
  • Review and verify vendor invoices before submitting to Finance for processing.
  • Maintain a database of approved vendors for flights, hotels, car rentals, visa agencies, and event locations.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in periodic policy updates based on business needs and cost trends.
  • Provide prompt, professional, and high-quality service to employees across the Group.
  • Maintain a “senior stakeholder-first” mindset with high sensitivity, confidentiality, and discretion.
  • Handle escalations and provide quick resolutions.
  • Support employees during travel disruptions (delays, cancellations, medical emergencies).
  • Travel booking TAT adherence.
  • Cost savings achieved through negotiation & optimized planning.
  • Policy compliance rate & reduction in exceptions.
  • Employee satisfaction score (especially senior stakeholders).
  • Efficiency in off-site & event planning.
  • Reduction in last-minute or premium travel costs.


Qualification:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Hospitality/Travel Management preferred).
  • Certification in Travel or MIS/Data Analytics is a plus.


Experience:


  • 6-7 years in corporate travel desk & MIS reporting roles.
  • Experience in BFSI or large corporates preferred.
  • Prior experience interacting with senior management is an added advantage.
