**Business Unit Job Summary**:

- The **_Manager, VAVE & Sustaining Engineering _**will lead a team of engineers in a production environment. The team’s primary purpose is to support the manufacturing lines for each product line as well as identify potential VAVE opportunities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with management to set and track team KPIs, metrics, and team capacity.
- Track team health, performance and workload.
- Perform VAVE analysis to identify areas of high cost or waste and eliminate them.
- Work with manager and cross functional teams to resolve roadblocks and improve performance.
- Review individual team member’s performance and provide improvement feedback.
- Train and onboard new team members as necessary.
- Investigate product and process related issues and fix them internally or delegate the corrections to the appropriate teams.Be the product knowledge expert to support manufacturing for FAI and/or prototype builds.
