Job Opening: Manager/Sr. Manager SAP Process Expert – SAP FICO

Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore 

Experience:

Manager – 12+ years (upto 42 LPA fixed + 30% variable)

Sr. Manager - 15+ years (upto 56 LPA fixed + 40% variable)

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Process Expert / Cross-Functional SME with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) and Record-to-Report (R2R). The role requires deep process consulting capabilities, exposure to pre-sales (RFP/RFQ), and hands-on experience in global SAP S/4HANA transformation programs. The incumbent will act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, bridging business process design and SAP solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP S/4HANA Process & Solution Expertise

  • Lead and contribute to end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations across Finance (FICO) and R2R processes
  • Drive fit–gap analysis, process harmonization, and global template design
  • Design and validate To-Be business processes aligned with SAP S/4HANA best practices
  • Provide cross-functional integration support with MM, SD, CO, Asset Accounting, Treasury, and Controlling
  • Act as a Process SME during design, build, testing, cutover, and hyper care phases

    • Consulting & Stakeholder Management

  • Engage with senior business stakeholders (Finance Heads, Controllers, CFO office) to define process requirements
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution design documents
  • Facilitate workshops, design thinking sessions, and process walkthroughs
  • Provide advisory support on S/4HANA transformation strategy, Central Finance, and financial process optimization

    • Pre-Sales / RFP / RFQ Support

  • Support pre-sales activities, including RFP/RFQ responses, solution proposals, and effort estimations
  • Develop high-level solution architecture, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps
  • Contribute to reusable assets, accelerators, and industry best practices

    • Testing, Governance & Delivery

  • Lead SIT, UAT, and regression testing from a process perspective
  • Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and SOX where applicable
  • Support data migration, reconciliation, and cutover planning
  • Mentor junior consultants and guide offshore/onshore teams

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

    Functional & Technical Expertise

  • 12+ years of overall experience in minimum 2–3 full life-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) and R2R processes
  • Graduated from Tier-1 or Tier-2 institutions (preferably with MBA from Tier-1/Tier-2 B-schools)
  • Proven management consulting experience (Big 4 / Tier-1 / Global SI preferred)
