About the role: 

We are seeking a highly experienced Process Expert / Cross-Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Planned Maintenance. The role demands strong end-to-end business process understanding, management consulting experience, and active involvement in pre-sales, RFP/RFQ responses, and international transformation programs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

SAP S/4HANA Process & Solution Expertise 

  • Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation programs with focus on PM / Asset Maintenance processes 

  • Drive Fit-to-Standard / Fit-Gap workshops, process discovery, and solution design 

  • Define To-Be process architectures, business blueprints, and functional design documents 

  • Provide cross-functional integration expertise with modules such as MM, PP, QM, FI/CO, EAM 

  • Ensure alignment of SAP solutions with industry best practices and client business objectives 

    • Consulting & Stakeholder Management 

  • Act as a Process Lead / SME during large-scale digital transformation programs 

  • Engage with senior business stakeholders (Plant Heads, Maintenance Managers, Operations Leaders) 

  • Provide strategic recommendations, process improvements, and value realization roadmaps 

  • Support organizational change management and adoption strategies 

    • Pre-Sales / RFP / RFQ Support 

  • Actively contribute to pre-sales activities, including solutioning, estimations, and proposal development 

  • Participate in RFP/RFQ responses, defining SAP solution scope, approach, and delivery models 

  • Support client presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs 

  • Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to shape winning proposals 

    • Governance & Quality Assurance 

  • Review functional designs, configurations, and deliverables for quality and compliance 

  • Mentor functional consultants and ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology 

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across process streams 

    • Required Skills & Qualifications 

    Functional & Technical Expertise 

  • 12+ years of overall experience in minimum 2–3 full life-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations 

  • Strong expertise in SAP PM / Planned Maintenance 

  • Graduated from Tier-1 or Tier-2 institutions (preferably with MBA from Tier-1/Tier-2 B-schools) 

  • Proven management consulting experience (Big 4 / Tier-1 / Global SI preferred)
