Managing Director

We are partnering confidentially with a leading global technology and manufacturing group to identify a Managing Director to establish and grow a Greenfield manufacturing site in Bangalore . This is a rare opportunity to build a flagship operation from the ground up and make a lasting impact.

The Role:

• Lead the end-to-end build-out of a new manufacturing facility , scaling operations.
• Full P&L ownership with responsibility across all operational functions , including supply chain, production, engineering, quality, and site leadership.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure sustainable growth, operational excellence, and alignment with global business objectives.
• Drive the hiring, development, and retention of high-performing teams to support the facility’s long-term success.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all operations.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven track record in manufacturing leadership , ideally with experience in high-tech, precision, or advanced manufacturing sectors .
• Experience managing large-scale projects or greenfield sites and scaling operations from scratch.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, operational excellence, and P&L management .
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills .
• Willingness and enthusiasm to relocate to Bangalore and lead a multi-year growth initiative.
