Managing director

We are partnering confidentially with a leading global technology and manufacturing group to identify a Managing Director to establish and grow a Greenfield manufacturing site in Bangalore. This is a rare opportunity to build a flagship operation from the ground up and make a lasting impact.
The Role:
- Lead the end-to-end build-out of a new manufacturing facility, scaling operations.
- Full P&L ownership with responsibility across all operational functions, including supply chain, production, engineering, quality, and site leadership.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure sustainable growth, operational excellence, and alignment with global business objectives.
- Drive the hiring, development, and retention of high-performing teams to support the facility’s long-term success.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards across all operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in manufacturing leadership, ideally with experience in high-tech, precision, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
- Experience managing large-scale projects or greenfield sites and scaling operations from scratch.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, operational excellence, and P&L management.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to relocate to Bangalore and lead a multi-year growth initiative.
