Managing Director, Medium Term Funding

As Managing Director, Medium Term Funding, Treasury, you’ll be involved in the strategy and execution of Desjardins funding initiatives. Desjardins Group’s Treasury is the first line of defense and a key player in rolling out the organization’s growth strategy. Through funding initiatives and the use of various medium-term funding programs (senior debt, covered bonds and subordinated debt programs), you’ll help minimize the organization’s funding costs and broaden its investor base. You’ll recommend and advise on initiatives to senior management based on various funding constraints, including regulatory liquidity and capital ratios. This position is in a complex, constantly changing market environment. You’ll need in-depth knowledge of markets, strong initiative, leadership and a sense of priorities to succeed in this position.
