The Managing Director at Accenture is a senior leadership role responsible for driving large‑scale transformation programs, managing client relationships, and achieving significant business development targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep relationships with C‑level executives and key stakeholders at client organizations. Act as the primary point of contact for major accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
- Business Development: Lead efforts to win new business and expand existing accounts. This includes developing proposals, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets.
- Leadership and Team Management: Oversee and mentor teams of consultants and analysts, ensuring high‑quality delivery of services. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth among team members.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for client engagements that align with their business goals. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change initiatives across various industries.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on the performance of client projects, ensuring they meet established KPIs and deliver value to clients. Adjust strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of leadership experience in consulting, technology, or sales, with a proven track record of managing large‑scale transformation programs and achieving P&L responsibilities.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an MBA or advanced degree is often preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence decision‑making at the executive level is crucial.
