Managing Director

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the interior design and fit-out business

• Drive business development, sales growth, and tender acquisition

• Oversee interior design, renovation, and fit-out project operations

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards

• Approve project budgets, quotations, variations, and major procurement

• Oversee cost control, project margins, and overall company profitability

• Manage key client, developer, consultant, and main contractor relationships

• Lead and manage senior management, designers, project managers, and site teams

• Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, and performance management

• Ensure compliance with building, safety, and regulatory requirements (e.g. BCA, MOM, workplace safety)

• Manage key subcontractors, suppliers, and strategic partners

• Resolve major project, client, and operational issues

• Represent the company in major negotiations and business engagements

Requirements:

• Proven senior management experience in interior design, construction, or fit-out industry

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Demonstrated track record in business development and sales growth

• In-depth knowledge of interior fit-out, renovation, and project management processes

• Good understanding of cost control, budgeting, and project profitability

• Experience dealing with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants

• Strong knowledge of local building regulations and workplace safety requirements (e.g. BCA, MOM, WSH)

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to lead multiple projects and teams simultaneously

• Strategic thinking with strong execution capability

• Good commercial and financial acumen

• Degree or relevant professional qualification in Interior Design, Construction Management, Building, Business, or related field preferred

• At least 6 years of relevant senior management experience
