Managing Librarian, Information Services

Athabasca University is recruiting for a Managing Librarian, Information Systems.

This one-year full-time term appointment is Place-Based and located in Athabasca.

The Position:

The Managing Librarian, Information Services is responsible for:

• Supervising the operations of the Library Information Desk, Interlibrary Loans, and the Library mailroom

• Direct supervision of library assistants who work at the Information Desk and in Interlibrary Loans

• Administration of the Library's call tracking system and chat system

• Providing reference and instructional services to AU faculty, staff and students

This position reports directly to the Associate University Librarian, Learning & Research Services and works closely with other librarians, library staff, and staff across the university.
