Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Good to have skills : A&D Aftermarket

Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will also participate in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Hands-on experience delivering implementation projects, with ownership of key project phases.
- Experience supporting ongoing operations or support projects (Dev Ops exposure is a plus).
- Experience in working on RFPs, participate in solutioning calls.
- Monitor operational KPIs and recommend process improvements.
- Regular client interaction experience, including handling day-to-day communication.
- Experience leading and mentoring small to mid-sized teams (5–8 members).
- 12+ years of experience
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes: Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Shipping.
- Very strong experience in MAWM / MWOS / Active Scale
- Proactive experience, ability to build extension packs in MAWM is a plus.
- Experience with Labor Management (LM) is an advantage.
- Experience with Slotting is a plus.
- Understanding of Manhattan SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) is a plus.
- SQL knowledge for debugging/logs/troubleshooting in WMOS.
- Experience with OMS/TMS integration.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Manhattan certification (nice to have).

- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Manhattan Warehouse Solutions Technical.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
