Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Manhattan WMS Developer with strong experience in Manhattan ProActive, Java, and SQL to support and enhance warehouse management system operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, operations, and IT teams to design, develop, and support Manhattan WMS solutions that drive efficiency across warehouse and supply chain operations.

• Design, develop, and maintain Manhattan WMS ProActive configurations and customizations
• Develop and enhance business logic using Java within the Manhattan framework
• Write and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and reports to support warehouse operations
• Support integrations between Manhattan WMS and external systems such as ERP, TMS, and inventory platforms
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Manhattan
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root‑cause analysis and fixes
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning
• Work closely with warehouse operations, functional analysts, and offshore/onshore teams

• Strong hands‑on experience with Manhattan WMS (ProActive module)
• Solid programming experience in Java
• Advanced SQL skills (Oracle / SQL Server preferred)
• Experience working with WMS configurations, workflows, and rules
• Knowledge of warehouse operations (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory)
• Experience in system integration and data flow between WMS and other systems

• Experience with Manhattan Scale, PkMS, or Active
• Exposure to REST, APIs, messaging systems
• Retail, eCommerce, or Supply Chain domain experience
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
