About the Role

: The Manufacturing Engineer, working with design engineering, is responsible for the introduction of digital point to point microwave systems; building prototypes, delivering product in volume; and transferring product/process to contract manufacturing partners. The manufacturing engineer is primarily responsible for developing the manufacturing assembly and testing solutions for new products and maintaining the cost and quality effectiveness through the product life cycle. Responsible for incorporating the Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) into the initial product design.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the manufacturing processes, validate and implement them in contract manufacturing sites. 
  • Work closely with development engineering team to ensure the DFX results being incorporated into the new product design.
