Deliver products to customers on time with good quality. Ensure products and assembly/test processes are designed for volume production. Initiate and implement continuous improvements in production to minimize costs and cycle time but at the same time to maximize inspection/test yields. Introduce new products into manufacturing with regard to the assembly process, test process, quality, material flow, etc. Determine and drive to completion any and all manufacturing changes that improve quality, cost, lead time, cycle time, etc. Evaluate products from the general manufacturing perspective; assembly process, DFM, testability, labor time and skill level, BOM(s), etc.
