BMG is looking for talented, highly motivated people who love a challenge and have the desire to improve.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Strong leadership ability</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Develop and maintain NC programs using CAM software to facilitate continuous production of machined parts</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Utilize knowledge of available equipment, work holding, and tooling to create the most efficient production process possible</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Create and control technical information, plans, and instructions required to produce parts in a timely manner</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Identify and troubleshoot engineering and machining process problems to keep production process flowing</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Collaborate with sales team to perform time studies to generate accurate cost estimates with plan specifications</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Setup and perform first part run offs and coordinate with operators to continue machining operation</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Contribute to the training of company employees to continuously improve skill level of machine operators</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Perform pre-production engineering reviews and risk assessments to ensure project success</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Provide input to improve productivity and quality to reduce costs and achieve company goals</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Optimize and secure programs to prevent process alteration</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>CNC vertical and horizontal milling experience required</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Ability to program using CAM software from blueprints and solid models</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Expert CNC trouble shooting skills</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Experience cutting a wide variety of standard and exotic materials</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Proficiency with Fanuc and / or Haas controls required</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Experience with the following machine builders preferred: Makino, Haas, Brother, and Fanuc Robodrill.</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Software Knowledge required: Mastercam and Microsoft Office</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Software Knowledge preferred: Solidworks and Epicor (or equivalent ERP experience)</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Minimum 5 years programming</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>10 – 15 years in a machine shop environment</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Strong communication and organization skills</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>Capacity for working in a team environment</p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>High School or equivalent required</p><p>·<span style="font-family: "> </span>College or trade school preferred</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Benefits and Compensation</strong></p><p>As a member of the BMG team, we will reward your efforts with competitive compensation based on experience and access to a comprehensive benefits program.
