Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Location: Decorah, Iowa


Salary: $75-90K


Job Summary of the Industrial Engineer: The Industrial Engineer will coordinate the identification of obstacles affecting product flow, utilizing lean principles to resolve process bottlenecks and decrease work in progress (WIP). Responsibilities also include managing the IE operators and technicians, offering guidance, and enhancing their skills and performance.


Job Duties & Responsibilities of the Industrial Engineer:

  • Lead and execute lean initiatives at the site including 5S, standard work, visual management, pace to takt, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and 8D to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.

  • Develop the professional growth of facility Leads, Supervisors, and Managers by acting as a proactive agent of change that nurtures a culture of continuous improvement
