Manufacturing Engineer - External Supply Chain - Submarines

Derby (5 days on site)

An exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer has arisen within the Supply Chain team in Nuclear (Submarines).

The successful candidate will oversee Manufacturing Engineering activities across the External Supply Chain to ensure the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and methods that consistently meet business and customer requirements for safety, quality, cost, delivery rate, and lead time (SQCD).

Assess the capabilities of manufacturing suppliers and support source selection and approval across the supply chain.
When required, serve as the Product Introduction (PI) Component Lead, integrating manufacturing engineering activities across the full value stream and acting as the primary Manufacturing Engineering representative within the core Integrated Product Team (IPT) ...
