Responsibilities include project management, leading process enhancements, defect reduction, and specifying new equipment. The engineer will employ mechanical and electrical troubleshooting to boost efficiencies, work with automated assembly equipment including robotics (Fanuc and Yamaha), and PLCs. They may utilize AutoCAD or SolidWorks for equipment modifications and create documentation for team members and maintenance staff. SQL databases may be used for data review, and the role supports implementing a preventive maintenance schedule for the maintenance team.
